A question to ask

It was December and an early breeze
Like every morning he had a day to seize
While he saw faces with laughs and glow
Christmas it was with drops of snow

The moment was pure with smiles all around
Sleepy head got up but pretended to be sound
With thoughts in his mind and the mouth full of pastries
The boy was out to exchange a few pleasantries

A friendly gathering, few unseen faces
The boy kept staring someone’s yellow laces
A minute had passed but the girl didn’t wait
Long hair, blue eyes and an elegant gait
She made side, fixed eyes, it felt a rhythmic verse
Her charm froze all but our boy was nervous

While she was in front in pretty white shoes
She’s adorable, She’s lovely what words do I choose
A minute long pause when the girl broke the ice
A walk in the meadows would be nice

Poor boy was shocked but utterly pleased
When something happened and that moment was seized
The boy was an open book shared worlds with her
She also took pauses with same fervour

They talked their likes, looked both were happy
But the tale is twisted and not so snappy

While the boy was home and joyous within
The girl kept judging every word wherein
The boy thought Christmas and his sorrows released
Her shush throughout made future deceased

Now it’s been long when he peeps the past
And tries to find voids, why didn’t it last
Guess people like people with a shell or a mask
Should he change, Should he not, it’s a question to ask

About a boy

A boy was shy with dreams unbound
Going away from home, pretended to be profound
A few friends around, no jeer and smirk
Going all the way down south for training and work

The day was heavy and the night was dull
The boy was sad but kept still
Kept telling himself, it’ll be dawn someday
Don't lose your cool, he’ll pave the way

Day came, he landed, it was a new world
Different thoughts different likes, he felt absurd
A few days passed and a girl came in
Brought life with her and colors to fill in

This boy was awed and stared for long
When gained conscience pretended to be strong
With courage gained in the boy approached
His first words were-"let your hairs loose"

The girl was shocked as if pinched with a stub
She said she was the teacher and will take it up
The boy was giggling but kept his calm
His brazenness paid off, was it a fluke or the charm

The boy was back and the girl was the saver
They became acquaintances then friends forever

Fall in love

The day has come , heck who am I fooling
Am not tied up but pretending to be
Have thoughts in my mind can't wait till tomorrow
You said to be bold, I'm trying to be

She says:-" I don't know you yet, have only met you thrice.
Am unsure about you , are you a virtue in disguise "
I say close your eyes and let yourself loose
Don't you let your brain but your heart to choose.

It is hollow what they say and dunno why they teach
Not true but yeah sounds great to preach
That it was not love what you've felt before
And it'll take reason and time to mature.

They might be right but I doubt there's a chance
When you hear her first time or exchange a glance
And that very moment ,when you know it isn't true
It pounces you hard as if out of the blue.

Let the luck come in , for once it knocks your door
Be happy, fall in love and I couldn't agree with you more.

I wish

I wish you sit on the porch with me
I wish you pick buds off for me
I wish you sense the smell of me
I wish you feel the breath in me

Those folded hands when touch your armlet
Say a few things out in open
Those golden earrings and the necklace
I sent you my love a token

When a strand of hair irritates your eyelid
Leaves a million hearts in pain
When a smile comes up on those rose buds
Happily they loose their worlds in vain

You're the one I wish to be with
You're the one I pray
You're the one I dream about
You're the reason I fray

If there is light, If there is truth
Come take me through a test
For her I'll cross a million worlds
Till then no joy no fest.

Will it be true,Can this be true
So many of these thoughts have come
If this be true, Heck this be true
Will I then shout or be numb?

What a day!

At eight in the morning and we were in a hurry
Jostled around for bread and then for curry
Four of my friends with memories bountiful
We painted this Sunday a bit more beautiful

Our day started with “Hangover 3”
We lost ourselves and set us free
It wasn't long , 10 minutes have barely past
Our decency blew up leaving people aghast
With all round abuses and breaking the jinx
Again we were sitting for “Fast 6”

At sometime around 2 for bon apetit
Sushi and soup was worth for a credit
The day died down but the craziness went forth
Morons shopped as hell without a dearth

On the way back home , counting pennies for the fare
Heading home but why, one gave me a glare
Night has just begun and don’t be low
The miser will buy tickets for the third show

When he went ahead , we were in a shock
Had he ever spent a penny was the usual mock
But that day was different without a doubt
Like day to like day the night was also loud

Don't you know me by now?

Eyes like lake and lips like rose
Color of milk you leave me amuse
That day I saw you with a bunch of friends
Like an ocean wave on a muddy sand

Though you were there your eyes were not
Looking for someone in utter distraught
Then if you remember our eyes met
Like morning showers on the soil bed

You looked like wine or the winter dew
Your tinge of smile rejuvenated the view
You were serene but placed your eyes down
Not any of your friends but I was your own

Our eyes were fixed and none to say
I told you to look away, don't catch me prey
Take me I take you we have none to defend
This world is not ours , we have nothing to pretend

This line, you fell for me , it happened somehow
Don't you know me , Don't you know me by now?
