It was December and an early breeze
Like every morning he had a day to seize
While he saw faces with laughs and glow
Christmas it was with drops of snow
The moment was pure with smiles all around
Sleepy head got up but pretended to be sound
With thoughts in his mind and the mouth full of pastries
The boy was out to exchange a few pleasantries
A friendly gathering, few unseen faces
The boy kept staring someone’s yellow laces
A minute had passed but the girl didn’t wait
Long hair, blue eyes and an elegant gait
She made side, fixed eyes, it felt a rhythmic verse
Her charm froze all but our boy was nervous
While she was in front in pretty white shoes
She’s adorable, She’s lovely what words do I choose
A minute long pause when the girl broke the ice
A walk in the meadows would be nice
Poor boy was shocked but utterly pleased
When something happened and that moment was seized
The boy was an open book shared worlds with her
She also took pauses with same fervour
They talked their likes, looked both were happy
But the tale is twisted and not so snappy
While the boy was home and joyous within
The girl kept judging every word wherein
The boy thought Christmas and his sorrows released
Her shush throughout made future deceased
Now it’s been long when he peeps the past
And tries to find voids, why didn’t it last
Guess people like people with a shell or a mask
Should he change, Should he not, it’s a question to ask
